    • Completed requirements based verification and achieved 100% Code Coverage for DO-254 compliance.
    • Participated in Code Peer Reviews, performed requirements traceability and created various project development documents and company standards to satisfy DO-254 compliance. Assisted in system integration verification of Logicircuit verified IP for DO-254 compliance.
  • Electrical Engineer III2006 - 2013

    CISCO Systems, Inc.
    • Designed, implemented and tested Program System Information FPGA processor design. Provided Software team with FPGA build files and worked with them to integrate processor design into Encoding platform.
    • Designed and simulated ASI transmit FPGA module used for test of Encoding Platform's IP packet functionality.
    • Designed, simulated, implemented, and verified new generation Encoder Audio Card's FPGA De-embedder, Metadata, and Dolby Decode modules. Assisted with the development of all Audio Card FPGA modules. Completed all Audio Processor system level and FPGA testing.
    • Collected and analyzed Customer data to recreate and correct various Encoding Platform Audio and Video FPGA and system issues.
    • Performed Engineering Verification and Test for Advanced Video Coding Encoder FPGAs and Encoder Statmux functions.
  • Associate Staff Engineer2001 - 2006

    Scientific-Atlanta, Inc.
    • Designed, implemented and tested a Program Clock Recovery packet inserter to solve a Customer reported Encoder Statmux clock drift.
    • Supported the development and verification of two generations of Encoding Platform FPGAs.
    • Participated in knowledge transfer from closing Copenhagen division.
    • Developed and debugged AAC, AC3, and MPEG Audio Encoder Card assemblies and FPGAs used in an MPEG-2/H.264 compliant Encoder.
  • Senior Hardware Design Engineer2000 - 2001

    Nortel Networks
    • Designed the G.LITE 24-port Line Card.
    • Created the hardware design specification for the G.ADSL 32-port Line Card. Completed debug and testing of three revisions of the ADSL 32 Line Card.

    Harris Corporation
    • Supported the design and test of ASICs and FPGAs used for terrestrial satellite modem applications. Participated in all phases of design from initial conception, implementation, simulation, verification, and documentation.
